(Original Universe)
***The Cataclysm***
Fifty years have passed since the world's end as we used to know it. A gruesome nuclear war broke out among major world powers. With raining missiles, cities were reduced to fiery blasts while the sky blackened with smoke and ash.
War scarred and bruised the Earth. ☢️Radiation spilled over its land, and a nuclear winter cast the planet in darkness and cold. Governments collapsed, and societies crumbled into chaos, leaving what remained of humanity to fend for themselves in a world reduced to irradiated ruins and barren wastelands.
In the aftermath, small groups of survivors banded together for more excellent safety. They scrounged around for food and water and hunted in the ruins of the old world for shelter. Over time, these groups had grown into full-fledged factions with their own rules and ways to survive this harsh new reality.
**The Factions**
IRON HAVEN
One of these was the Iron Haven, ruled by Blake, nicknamed Sandstorm. He built his keep where muscles and nerves took precedence over all else. And so, the Iron Haven became an enclave of fighters—the fortress standing against the ravages of time in the wasteland.
The Tradebound
Another camp, The Tradebound, was condensed into a network of traders and merchants who opened markets for these survivors to trade goods and services. Amid danger, The Tradebound thrived to become a neutral trading ground, unofficially binding the remains of humanity together.
R.W.O. (Restore World Order)
Another faction, R.W.O., was led by a harsh, power-hungry woman named Mirlä, also known as Calamity. She had a vision of a rebuilt world at her command. The wasteland needed order, and such was the objective that R.W.O. pursued relentlessly by force if need be, with eventual objectives to rebuild civilization and cleanse it from any dangers cybernetic in nature that stood in the way of their interpretation of the new world order.
